European stocks weaken for second day

European stocks fell Tuesday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index XX:SXXP closed down 0.40% to 467.08.

The French CAC 40 index FR:PX1 fell 0.56% to 7,531.61, the FTSE 100 index UK:UKX fell 0.27% to 7,891.13 and the German DAX DX:DAX was flat at 15,872.13.
